Would physical therapy be covered if administered by a skilled nurse?

There are many nurses that are certified in more than one area. I was wondering if this might be a good workaround for services that might not be covered otherwise.

Apparently, there is a Medicare program called PACE (Programs of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) for people who need a nursing home level of care, and it covers physical therapy, among other things. You have to live in a service area of the organization, though.

That's about as much as I know, can anybody else add to this?

Yes, Medicare pays only for medically necessary skilled nursing facility (SNF) care. Generally, skilled care is available only for a short time after a hospitalization.

Skilled care is health care given when you need skilled nursing or rehabilitation staff to manage, observe, and evaluate your care.
