Hi guys,

Please forgive a noobie here but I've never posted here before and this may not be the right forum. My mom is on Medicare and we thinking it would be advantageous for her to use a different plan (still with Medicare). The problem is that her premiums are automatically deducted. Will that continue if we change plans? If so, how can we stop it from automatically deducting?

You don’t need to do anything. Your enrollment in a new plan will automatically
stop the premium deduction from your current drug plan.

It generally takes one to two months before the premium is no longer being withheld.
